Supported in part with funding from a Forum mini-grant, DE-CRUIT created opportunities for engagement for those who suffer from PTS and the people who care about them. The Fairbanks project combined a performance of Cry Havoc! by actor Stephan Wolfert and ‘talk backs’ directly afterwards, as well as several DE-CRUIT workshops.
The project connected valuable community relationships, incited conversations and actions to further understanding, and sparked interest in a permanent chapter in Fairbanks.
